Oct. 23-27 - Members of the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) convene at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center for their annual meeting & TXPO, as thousands of 2009 Vampire Film Festival enthusiasts descend upon the city to participate in a variety of blood-sucking events. The AABB meeting is the premier event for transfusion and cellular therapy professionals, attracting thousands of attendees and generating millions of dollars in economic impact for New Orleans.
